Happy Easter

We had a very busy Easter weekend. On Saturday morning we took the kids to an elementary school near Ali and Jason's home for an egg hunt, Easter games, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Saturday night we had the birthday party. On Sunday morning we had an egg hunt at home (thanks to the Easter Bunny). We went to church at 9, and then headed to Ali and Jason's for another egg hunt. We ate Easter dinner at Forrest's parents and watched Horton Hears A Who (great movie).

Hannah and Cole would not go near the Easter Bunny. (Can you blame them - he is kind of weird looking.)
The kids are at such a great age. They get excited about everything. All of the holidays are like magic to them. Caden is still talking about the trail of eggs the Easter Bunny left from last year. This year the Easter Bunny left his footprints. Cade thought that was amazing. He had me take several pictures of the footprints so he can display them in his bedroom.

Because we had Cole's birthday party on Saturday night, we weren't able to do the traditional egg-dying. I'm glad Caden was able to dye eggs earlier in the week at Oma's house.

Here's the boys in their new Easter shirts. The pictures are really out of focus, but they're still cute. (I love having an excuse to buy them a new church outfit.)

If you're wondering whether or not my boys wear their goulashes everywhere, they do (except church). They absolutely love them.

Your pictures are amazing. Someday I'd love for you to teach me! How did you do those Easter bunny footprints? They are the cutest thing ever.
