Lake Powell

Forrest and a few of his buddies recently acquired a houseboat - a 1970's-needs-a-lot-of-work houseboat. But hey, at least it's a free place to stay whenever we go down there. Forrest has been several times the year to work on the houseboat, but we took our first family trip there over memorial weekend. It rained NON-STOP the first two days. Luckily the last two days were beautiful so the kids could actually play on the beach. There was lots of fishing, kite-flying, barbecuing, and we even got a couple of small hikes in. Thanks everyone for the fun time!

The highlight of the trip was when Cade caught his first fish - a catfish. He is still talking about it.
